Hand knotted rugs are an ancient art form that can create intricate modern organic or re-interpreted timeless ancient designs. They are woven completely by hand on a special loom. These carpets can exhibit simplicity or great complexity since each knot is individually tied by hand.  They often have a flat pile but may also utilize a variety of pile heights for added texture. Our rugs are made from many different materials, such as wool, silk, ECOSE ® nylon, jute and bamboo silk.
